Another Chimney Rock memory.... [more] Posted by Hello

Some time back - a few months - this circulated quite a bit on the web. I used to work at WXYC and I can tell ya first hand they are/were exceedingly proud to be a part of 'net history. Posted by Hello

Deeper Pic Delta

See the picture below? The funky one that I said was on Deeper Into Music (link elsewhere). Well, it was too funky. By popular demand, it is axed and removed. 86ed. Hope your browser is happier now...

Deeper Stuff and More

I have been giving Deeper Into Music a tweaking and visual update. It needed it.

imageHere's a newish background image that I added to the site as well. It did not completely come out as expected, but it is a decent enough composite. I was feeling very unwell this afternoon and after a rest, working on this picked me up considerably. And, I reckon I liked it well enough, because I added it to the overall site look.

I'm doing some networking with others to increase awareness and presence of the station. It appears to be working. This year I've gotten about $50.00 in donations to help offset the cost of keeping the station up. The L365 costs are a set $19.99/month. But there are additional costs as well that must be tallied. Like a portion of the bandwidth used from the home dsl account, the cost of the dedicated server and its upgrades, and just person hours devoted to finding good music and making it sound as crisp and clear as possible.

Additional tunes recently added include:

  • The Church - from Of Skins and Hearts
  • overlooked tunes Big Star
  • This Mortail Coil from It'll All End in Tears
  • updates to tunes by Mojave Three
  • and, rips from the Beasts of Bourbon (Aussie band circa 1983)

Listening has been up a little this week and that's reassuring. It makes the process worthwhile to get that trackable and immediate feedback of connection.
