Cleaning computer today and removing defective Seagate HD that finally crashed and burned. It was red hot when I removed it. At least 120 degrees F. I left the case cover off and was running the computer for a little while. I began hearing a faint flicking noise that started slow and rapidly increased... like the sound of sticking something soft into a fan and having the blades shread it. I think a mosquito flew in and perished on my CPU. I hope it doesn't come back to bite me later.

Digital cable installed yesterday for the teevee. It's off to Elmo's in a few for a bite and then to work after more than a week off! Fits of nostalgia again today. Hard to find the reason, but there it is.
